The country house

The country house of the Chernomyrdin Museum is located in the village Cherny Otrog in the Saraktash district.

It is a tourist site created by the museum with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development, Investment, Tourism and External Relations of the Orenburg Region. It includes a traditional Russian house, cooking and eating areas (gazebos, a Russian stove), a vegetable garden and a garden, a banya (Russian steam bath) and a place for outdoor events.

Visitors have already appreciated the spacious gazebo, where workshops and food tastings were held, and the guest house, designed according to the original design of the museum staff. This new “rural” direction of the museum’s work will allow tourists to have a huge amount of impressions from events and workshops on local cuisine (national, Cossack, according to the recipes of the Chernomyrdin family); harvesting herbs and drinking tea from a samovar; tastings of dishes according to ancient recipes, parties and folk festivals; walking in picturesque surroundings and visiting natural monuments.
