The Prime Minister out of hours

Several exhibitions located across the museums’ recreational areas.

They include the exhibition “Chernomyrdinisms” – Chernomyrdin’s famous aphorisms and malapropisms, which the whole of Russia continues to quote, twenty years on. They include: “We wanted the best, but it turned out like always”, “There's never been anything like this before, and now here we go again” and so on. He inherited a gift for figurative speaking from his mother. His pithy phrases are loved by people of all ages because they’re the kind where the ear hears more than the speaker meant to say.

Chernomyrdin enjoyed a happy marriage with his wife Valentina; some images of this are shown in various parts of the exhibition, along with some of the rare moments of leisure and recreation of a man who most people saw on television in a suit and tie.
